BGMI LITE is KRAFTON's lighter Battlegrounds Mobile India experience, now open for Android pre-registration in India through Google Play. The full game is planned for release later in 2026.
Unlike the full release of BGMI, BGMI LITE is being designed for players who want to reduce the amount of storage and device resources used by the game. KRAFTON says players will be able to choose additional game modules based on what they actually want to use instead of keeping every optional component installed.
The core battle royale experience remains familiar. The official listing confirms the classic Erangel battleground, 100-player survival matches, weapons, supplies and the shrinking play zone. Players will be able to compete solo or together with friends.
Existing BGMI players can use their BGMI account with BGMI LITE. KRAFTON also says owned items can carry over, and BGMI LITE players will be able to team up with friends using the main BGMI game.
BGMI LITE has not received its full public release yet. KRAFTON is targeting a launch later in 2026. Until the official release becomes available, APKOEN does not provide an APK download for the game. Android users can instead use the official Google Play listing to pre-register.
